NATSAP member The Mental Health & Autism Insurance Project (MHAIP) is please to announce its new name (formerly the Autism Health Insurance Project). MHAIP provides verification of benefits, pre-authorizations, URs and billing for treatment programs. For families MHAIP handle handle denials and appeals, single case agreements and support and referral to litigation.  

 

A Handy Tip: No 24-hour nursing? No JACHO Accreditation? No problem. At least according to this language in the Affordable Care Act. Try using it to fight denials.

The NATSAP Southwest Regional Conference CALL FOR PAPERS will CLOSE on February 26th! The NATSAP Southwest Regional Conference will take place from April 12th – April 13th, 2016 at the Dixie Center in St. George, Utah. Please save the date!  The objective of the NATSAP Southwest Regional conference is to bring up-to-date and practical information to a diverse audience that is dedicated to serving the growing needs and numbers of mental health and allied professionals who work with children, adolescents and their families in residential treatment centers, therapeutic boarding schools, wilderness programs, and allied fields.
